Fifty per cent is the usual minimum for teacher training admission, with relaxations for reserved categories.
D.El.Ed, or a four-year B.El.Ed Required
The two-year Diploma in Elementary Education is the standard route for teaching classes one to five. B.El.Ed is four years and integrated. Nursery teacher training is a separate route for pre-primary.
