We treat corrections as the highest-priority messages we receive. A wrong eligibility rule
or exam date can cost a student an entire admission cycle, so those are checked and fixed
ahead of anything else.

Before you write
Current contact status
IndianCareerGuide is in a controlled pre-launch stage.
A monitored support mailbox and a secure contact form will be published here before
the public launch. Until then, please route reports through the project administrator.
We would rather say this plainly than publish an address nobody is watching. When the
support channels go live, this page will list the mailbox, the expected response time
and the grievance officer required under Indian law.
Most useful report
Reporting a content correction
If an eligibility rule, exam date, fee, former exam name, course mapping or career
claim looks wrong, tell us. Include as much of the following as you can — with these
four details we can usually verify and publish a fix quickly:
The exact page address on this site.
The specific sentence, figure or mapping that needs review.
The official authority, university or institution source that shows the correct position.
The date on which you checked that source.
You do not need to be certain. If something simply looks inconsistent with what your
school or college told you, that is worth reporting — inconsistencies are often where
genuine errors are hiding.
Something broken
Reporting a technical problem
For a page that fails to load, times out, displays incorrectly or behaves unexpectedly,
please note the page address, the approximate time, your device and browser, and what
you did immediately before the problem appeared.
The timestamp matters more than it sounds: our internal error log records the technical
details of failures, and a time lets us match your report to the exact recorded event.
Please note
What we cannot help with
We are an independent guidance resource. We are not connected to any exam authority,
university, college or counselling body, which means there are things we genuinely
cannot do:
Admissions and seat allotment. We cannot apply on your behalf, influence a seat, check your application status or intervene in counselling.
Results and rank queries. Only the conducting body can answer these. We do not hold your result data.
Individual eligibility rulings. We can explain the published rule; only the institution can confirm whether you personally satisfy it.
Document verification. We never verify, collect or hold certificates, marksheets or identity documents.
Never send us sensitive documents. Do not share Aadhaar numbers,
marksheets, application IDs, passwords, bank or payment details. We do not need them,
we will not ask for them, and no genuine message from us ever will. If someone
claiming to represent IndianCareerGuide asks you for money or documents, it is not us.
Institutions
Colleges, schools and partnerships
Institution profiles are not live yet, so listing requests, sponsorship offers and
partnership enquiries are not being accepted at this stage.
When institution profiles are introduced, we will publish a verified institution-claim
process. To be clear about the model: placement and ordering on this site will not be
purchasable, and any commercial arrangement that does exist will be labelled on the
page where it appears.
Your data
Privacy and data requests
We do not currently operate student accounts and do not collect names, email addresses
or contact details from visitors. In practice there is usually no personal data of
yours for us to retrieve or erase.
If you believe we hold personal data about you and want to access or delete it, or you
want to raise a privacy concern, use the same contact route above and mark it clearly
as a privacy request. Full detail on what is and is not collected is set out in the
privacy policy.
