X-ray and CT installations require AERB registration, and radiation workers must be monitored with personal dosimeters. This is a regulated working environment and the rules protect you specifically.

Work across modalities Required
Plain radiography, then CT, then MRI or interventional. Each modality is learned separately, and the technologist who can run several is the one hospitals keep.
