A broad but demanding combination

PCMB may preserve eligibility across many Mathematics- and Biology-based courses. It does not mean every option is equally suitable, so use interests, aptitude and preferred work environments to narrow the list.

PCMB keeps both Mathematics and Biology routes visible

Common core: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English under the applicable board structure.

PCMB can preserve eligibility for many PCM and PCB courses, including engineering, medicine, biotechnology, bioinformatics and interdisciplinary science. It does not guarantee admission to every course.

Choose PCMB for a reason

The workload is heavier than most combinations. Select it when you have genuine aptitude and a study plan for both Mathematics and Biologyโ€”not only because you are undecided.

COMMON QUESTIONS

After 12th FAQs

Does PCMB make a student eligible for every PCM and PCB course?

No. It preserves many subject-based options, but marks, entrance tests, age, attempts and institution-specific eligibility still apply.

Who should avoid selecting PCMB?

Students who are choosing it only from fear of closing options should first assess workload, aptitude and target careers. A focused combination can be better than an unmanageable one.
